The question you might wonder is whether or not that you will truly receive new teeth in a day. The answer is yes, but there is a little more to it than that. What to Expect With All-on-4

When it comes to teeth in a day, it is not as cut and dry as walking into our office and leaving a few hours later with a new set of permanent teeth. Here are the basics of what you can expect. The first thing that we will need for you to do is to come in for the initial appointment. We will examine your mouth to see if you are a good candidate for teeth in a day. Often, we will recommend what is known as All-on-4 Treatment Concept. This is a type of dental implant where we will only need four screws to give you brand new teeth. After we have determined that you are a good candidate for All-on-4, we will make the appointment for the actual procedure.

The day of the procedure is that day that is meant by "teeth in a day." Expect to spend a good part of the day in our office. We will implant the screws and make sure that they are positioned correctly. What is nice about All-on-4 is that it is rare that a patient will need a bone graft. Also, on this day we will fit you with a set of temporary teeth. These will help you to be able to go about your normal routine as your jaw heals. The screws and the bone in your jaw need to fuse, and that can take some time. You will leave our office with new teeth.

We will most likely ask you to come in for checkups over the next few weeks. The appointments should not take much time. While your jaw is still healing, you will want to stick to soft foods and things that are not going to hurt to eat. If you experience any unusual pain, please let us know about it right away. Once your jaw has healed, you will come in again, and you will receive your final, permanent teeth. These teeth will be strong, and you will be able to eat the foods that you used to enjoy once again. No one will be able to tell that they are not your natural teeth unless you decide to tell them.
