The day of your appointment, you will arrive early. We will take a mold of your mouth, and we will also talk to you about what you want for your new dentures.
There are several choices that you will be able to make for your new custom fit dentures. These choices include the shade of the gums, the shape of the teeth, and the shade of the teeth. You can even choose more than one shade for the teeth if you think that it will look more natural. Your next step will be to wait. We will make the new dentures for you while you are waiting.
Later that day your new dentures will be ready. We will then fit them to make sure that they are comfortable for you. We will want to know if there are any problems or if we need to make any adjustments. It is as simple as that. You will receive your new dentures, and then you can go home. You will be able to eat and to smile with confidence.
It might take you a little while to get used to your new dentures. It would help if you started slowly. Hold off on the corn on the cob and other difficult to eat items until you are used to them. One thing that you need to remember is that your dentures need to stay wet at all times. If you are not wearing them, they need to be soaking.
